The information below outlines the plan that has been put in place to increase both:

• the number of purchasers using TrainerBase and

• the level of activity of each purchaser.

THE PLAN

To email all 900 individuals responsible for sourcing external freelance Trainers.

  To offer our monthly Training Purchasers Bulletin.
  To offer automatic registration to TrainerBase.

  To build our relationship with individuals responsible for sourcing external freelance Trainers.

 

E MAIL 1 - June 2009

To include:

1. Why should Purchasers use TrainerBase.

2. How to use TrainerBase.

3. It’s free!

Specifically: Key Benefits of TrainerBase

1. It is a free, quick and easy way for Purchasers to find freelance Trainers.

2. It allows Purchasers to find a suitable Trainer from our database of over 3000 Trainers with expertise in over 500 wide-ranging disciplines.

3. Over 500 Trainers have a profile which Purchasers can review before getting in touch with them. It gives Purchasers the ability to directly compare one Trainer’s profile with another.

4. Access to 2000 free downloadable resources.

5. TrainerBase has a contracts board where Purchasers can advertise their requirements. This is also free to use and Purchaser contact details can remain confidential.

Information on how to use TrainerBase:

1. Search (subject, discipline, sector, location, Trainer’s name).

2. Post an opportunity (tender).

3. How TrainerBase can do the work for them. How we can help them find a suitable freelance Trainer. And for free.

4. How TrainerBase is also able to recommend our approved, accredited Trainers. There will be a direct link to the page on Trainerbase so they can browse the profiles of our Certified Learning Practitioners.

Why should they use TrainerBase?

1. Because it’s successful… Over £2 million worth of Training Purchasers contracts achieved through the site in 2008. This looks set to continue into 2009.

2. Due to the level of activity on TrainerBase we are able to offer our services to Training Purchasers absolutely free.

3. Training Purchasers now recognise that TrainerBase is a reliable source for freelance Trainers and value the significant benefits that the Association offers.

 

E MAIL 2 – July.

This email will

1. Remind Purchasers of the key benefits of TrainerBase.

2. Offer:

   i. Free copies of the Training Journal.

   ii. Our monthly Training Purchasers Bulletin.

3. Offer automatic registration as a user of TrainerBase. This will:

   i. Make it much easier for them to post opportunities on TrainerBase.

   ii. Give us all a way of tracking purchaser activity on TrainerBase - really useful for future marketing campaigns.

Ongoing monthly Training Purchasers Bulletin.

This will start in 2010.

 

Will continue to build awareness of TrainerBase and The Learning Practitioners Association. This bulletin will include items such as:

1. Highlights within the Learning and Development Industry.
2. Key successes of TrainerBase.
3. Articles on the ‘Standard’.
4. Articles about purchasing training.
5. Articles on types and benefits of training.
6. Showcase Certified Learning Practitioners.
