CLP workshop

TrainerBase is running an assessment and introduction workshop.

 

This event will be:

on Friday May 8th 2009

at De Vere Venues, Latimer Place, Latimer, Chesham, Bucks, HP5 1UG.

 

The aim of the workshop is for attendees to:

  • Hear about TrainerBase, how it works and how to make it work for you.
  • Learn about The Standard for Learning Practitioners, and its relevance to your business.
  • Find out about Certified Learning Practitioners, and how accreditation can increase professionalism and earning potential.
  • See a CLP candidate delivering a training session as part of their accreditation.
  • Get the opportunity to network with the TrainerBase team.

The event is free of charge and we have a small number of spaces available.

The Trainers' Picnic

The 5th annual TrainerBase conference is exploring the challenges facing learning and development practitioners. And to make the learning environment more engaging, TrainerBase is relaxing the format and has chosen the Cotswolds as the location.

 

There is nothing so certain as change (who said that) and non more so than in today’s economic turmoil. Trainers, courseware developers and training advisers are being affected by a multitude of environmental factors that could change the way they operate both at a business level, or within the offering of their learning and development services. Some of these factors have been emerging for a while (coaching), whereas others appear to have arrived from way out of left field (twitter).

 

The TrainerBase Trainers’ conference is focusing this year on a number of these emerging challenges that all learning and development practitioners need to consider if they are to stay abreast if not ahead of the competition.

 

The conference offers workshops on 2 themes, training and business.

 

Training related sessions include:

  • Alternative delivery methods: (combining technology and facilitation).
  • Drama in the Learning Environment: (the use of theatre as a learning enabler).
  • To train or not to train: (how a coaching culture affects the training proposition).

Business related sessions include:

  • Social networking: (as a business tool)
  • Public sector tendering: (a pot of gold or a black hole).

This year the conference itself is taking on a different, more engaging format and providing a relaxed and informal environment for the networking and CPD. Sponsored by Cotswold Conference Centre, the 2009 conference is heading outdoors.

The TrainerBase Standard
